New Update on Samonim's health
May 28, 2016
Update is from Pastor Leo Rhee
Greetings Pastors. I'm just writing you guys with some good
news regarding Kim Haeyeon Samonim at
Nanumi, a ministry that reaches out to the homeless community in
Seoul Staton. Since all of your churches are affiliated
with serving there in some way and especially since you send your
people to serve, I wanted to update all the leaders.
I spoke with Moksanim today when our group and several others came
out to serve. They were preparing
for Samonim to get surgery. About a month
ago, she was diagnosed with Neuralgia and had been dealing with
intense pain on her face and different areas of her body.
After doing CT scans and MRI, doctors suggested brain surgery to
relieve some of the nerves that were tangled. HOWEVER, they
wanted a second opinion and when they did the tests again, doctors
said the nerves became unraveled on their own. It was an
incredible move of God after the prayers of so many people!
She believes she has been completely healed, although they will
retest her in
6 months, just to make sure.
Perhaps it's not my place to say, but just wanted to thank everyone
for your prayers and support. God has been
good. Samonim even came out to help
with set up today. We hadn't seen her in many months. The
donations that are coming in will still be helpful, according to
Moksanim. The exams and hospital bills have accumulated over
the months.
Thanks for your support & continued prayers for Nanumi.
Let's continue to bless this amazing couple.
