Dear family and friends,
Some of you may know, my parents have been doing ministry in Cebu, Philippines for the past 30 years. They have commited their lives to serve the Filipino community since 1989. They have built five local churches throughout Cebu and Bohol. For one of the churches in Cebu, Cebu Shalom Presbyterian Church, they have been praying for new pews for the sanctuary. Thankfully, a local church in Korea offered to donate 15 long wooden pews (which is very expensive to buy locally). However, the cost to send the chairs to the Philippines is about $3000 by boat. My friends have offered to cover the transactions fees, which means that 100% of the donations will go towards the cause!!! For those that are able, can you join me in sending these chairs to Cebu Shalom Presbyterian Church? Any amount will be greatly appreciated.
