Acts 13:47
For this is what the Lord has commanded us: “ ‘I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’ ”

From this verse, you probably know why I am writing this letter. I never thought the day would come for me to lower my pride and send this letter out for financial help.

This is how my journey began. 2018 began with a lot of hope to start new beginnings. However, things did not go according to my plan as I put my trust in finding a new career path. Perhaps it is not so horrible to want certain things from the world, but I guess my priorities were not in order. Whether I liked it or not, God had a different plan for me. Whether I wanted to or not, I was going to Discipleship Training School in Kona, Hawaii. Little did I know that it would cost me $4055.00 for the initial lecture phase, on the first day. Keep in mind, I had left two jobs to find myself now in debt. You’re probably wondering, “Well, lots of missionaries sell their belongings to pay for their trips too.” That is correct. And that is why our family decided to downsize to a smaller home where most of the space will be used for storage, which includes many of my boxes. Why go through this trouble? Why does one need to inconvenience a whole family, plus friends and acquaintances that may be offended by a letter like this, asking for money? That’s for me to find out as well. I don’t have the answers and a part of me doesn’t really care for it either. But another part of me believes that this is bigger than any one of us. To save a life is crucial for any lifeguard working along the beaches. How much more important is it to save a soul? We are blessed to have ours saved, but what about those in other nations?

Our team, which includes 9 others with the same mission, will be sent to two closed off nations, not only to spread the gospel but to work with groups that need physical and emotional aid. The dates have been set from June 28 – September 7, 2018 with the cost of $7,995.

The funds to be donated would not only send me and my Fire & Fragrance Team, but also better help and support those who were afflicted. Thank you for taking the time to read the letter and support our team from every small prayer to donation.

“주께서 이같이 우리를 명하시되 내가 너를 이방의 빛을 삼아 너로 땅 끝까지 구원하게 하리라 하셨느니라”

이 구절을 읽으면서 왜 제가 이 편지를 쓰는지 아실거에요. 제 자존심을 낮추고 이 편지를 재정적 인 도움을 위해 보내는 날이 올 것이라고 생각하지 못했습니다.

2018 년은 새롭게 시작하기위한 많은 희망으로 시작했습니다. 그러나 새로운 경력 경로를 찾는 것에 대한 신뢰를 가지기 때문에 모든 것이 계획대로 진행되지 않았습니다. 아마도 세상에서 어떤 것들을 원한다는 것이 그렇게 나쁜 것은 아니겠지만, 우선 순위가 잘못되었다고 생각할수도있죠.

제가 좋아하든 그렇지 않든, 하나님은 저를 위해 다른 계획을 가지고 계셨습니다. 제가 원할지라도 안할지라도, 전 하와이 코나에있는 제자 훈련 학교에 (YWAM DTS) 와있었습니다. 아 무 것 도 모 르 면 서 초기 강의 단계에 이미 $ 4055.00의 비용이 들겠다는 현실에 놀랍고 혼란스러웠죠.염두에 두십시요- 집,, 차,, 2 개의 직장을 두고 벌써부터 빛이 생기는게 너무나 싫은거에요.

여기서 여러분들 질문이 있겠죠, “선량한 선교사들이 물건을 팔아서 여행 비를 지불 하지 않나?" 라고 궁금 할 것입니다. 맞습니다. 그래서 저의 가족은 대부분의 공간이 저장 공간으로 사용될 작은 집으로 크기를 축소하기로 결정했습니다. 여기에는 많은 상자가 포함되어 있습니다. 왜이 문제를 겪으니까? 왜 온 가족이 불편을 겪을 필요가 있으며, 친구와 지인은이 편지로 인해 불쾌 해야하나요?

저도 모릅니다. 그 질문의 대답을 할수없고 또 어느 부분에서는 그 생각 자체도 하기 싫어요. 그러나 저의 다른 부분은 이것이 (Missions) 저의 누구보다도 크다고 믿고 싶어요. 생명을 구하기 위해서는 긴급 구조 원이 필요한 만큼 영혼을 구하는 것이 얼마나 더 중요하고 더 욱 더 구 조 가 필 요 할 까 요 ? 저의는 저의 구원을 얻는 축복을 받았지만 다른 나라의 사람들은 어떨까요?

동일한 사명을 가진 9 명의 다른 멤버들과 함께, 우리 팀은 두 나라로 보내질겁니다. 그 지역에 파견되어 복음을 전파 할뿐만 아니라 육체적, 정서적 인 도움이 필요한 그룹과 일하게 될 것입니다. 날짜는 6 월 28 일부터9 월 7 일까지 $7,995 달러로 책정되었습니다.
